Language in Motion is a fun, interactive way to teach and reinforce language acquisition, specifically targeting verb tenses and subject verb agreement. LIM is designed for both the Speech & Language Impaired population as well as the Bi-Lingual Population. LIM is suitable for ages 3 and above, and adults.

Language In Motion, LIM is a comprehensive application that enables the user to gain the language skills necessary for coding and communicating ideas relating to ongoing events, past occurrences and future actions in daily life. LIM promotes the acquisition of the underlying syntactical rules relating to appropriate verb selection/usage. LIM, by design, has as its focus the conjugation of five verb forms: present tense, present progressive tense, past tense (both irregular and regular formats), past progressive tense, and future tense, which are then paired with appropriate subject nouns or pronouns.(Both singular and compound). LIM provides the opportunity for the user to acquire these expressive language skills in a stimulating, motivating and entertaining manner, with targets selected to represent activities of daily life.

LIM, as a powerful educational tool, eliminates structured drill lessons, minimizes the amount of direct teaching, and stores instructionally relevant data which will be both useful in program planning and reliable for accountability purposes. LIM elicits various preset levels of responses. LIM is interactive and engaging, provides constant and ongoing feedback, and contingent, positive reinforcement. LIM helps to maintain attention and interest and encourages the user to express his/her own thoughts and to become an active participant in the process of language learning. LIM’s job is complete when it generates an e-fax Speech & Language Therapy Progress Report for each session. Data is saved within the app itself, for reference.
